Welcome to the Brighton Betsey Ann Fire Protection District's website. The district covers 67 square miles of portions of both Macoupin and Jersey Counties. We operate out of two stations at 105 Myrtle St and 29337 Delhi Rd. We currently have a fleet of 11 apparatus. We offer several services to the community we serve. The services we provide are: Fire suppression, Emergency Medical Services, HAZMAT, Fire Prevention, Rescue (Ice water rescue and low angle rope rescue) and many more. The Brighton Betsey Ann Fire Protection Dist. is a member of M.A.B.A.S. 35. Our staff is 46 members strong. We have eight Illinois certified FF III, nineteen Illinois certified FF II. Our EMS staff is also highly trained to help with our medical calls. We are an Advanced Life Support fire dept. Please keep checking back for more updates.
WE CAN HEAR YOU, BUT WE CAN’T SEE YOU! Your firefighters with Brighton Betsey Ann Fire Protection District are working to clearly identify addresses across the district that we volunteer to protect. Responding to each incident in a timely manner requires all first responders to find the proper address, which in certain situations has proven difficult in the past. By having your address clearly marked near the roadway, and visible from either direction of approach, you can help us and save valuable moments when you, your home or loved one is in need of assistance.
